Monica Gillette (dancer) has performed across the United States, Europe, Japan and Iran and has worked with Johannes Wieland, Patrick Corbin and Noemie Lafrance, as well as several companies in Los Angeles. Monica is a 2007 DanceWEB scholarship recipient to Impulstanz in Vienna, Austria and an active member of Sweet and Tender Collaborations, which most recently took her to Iran to perform in the 26th International Fadjr Festival. She is also an accomplished film editor, working on such shows as "The Sopranos" and Dick Wolf's "Crime & Punishment," and has made several dance films that have screened internationally. Jon Guymon (dancer) was born in Utah, grew up in West Virginia, and
studied dance at North Carolina School of the Arts. He has performed in
New York City and abroad for bopi's black sheep, the Saeko Ichinohe
Dance Company, Cornfield Dance, and others. He is excited to be
entering his third season with johannes wieland.

 


Eva Mohn (dancer) is from Minneapolis, Minnesota. She learned about johannes wieland in 2005, during Johannes’ residency in Minneapolis. She spent July 2007 working with Johannes and his dancers at The Yard in Martha’s Vineyard making dance work to be premiered in his summer 2008 New York season. During her time in Minnesota Eva dances with TU Dance Company, the SHE collective, and plays in a female rock quartet Coach Said Not To.

 


Kristin Osler (dancer) hails from Dayton, Ohio where she studied dance with the South Dayton Dance Theatre. She graduated magna cum laude (with honors in dance and a minor in visual arts) from the Ailey/Fordham BFA program in New York City. She currently works with Johannes Wieland’s New York based company, johannes wieland, and spent five months abroad in Germany dancing with the Staatstheater Kassel Tanztheater under the direction of Mr. Wieland. Kristin has worked with Antony Rizzi and the Miro Dance Theatre and is a founding member of Yaa Samar! Dance Theatre in New York. She has worked with choreographers such as Nacho Duato, Helen Pickett, Christopher Huggins and Takehiro Ueyama, and performed works by Alvin Ailey, Martha Graham, Twyla Tharp, and Hans van Manen.

 


Isadora Wolfe (dancer) is from Lowell, Massachusetts, and graduated from NYU’s Tisch School with the JS Seidman Award. She has performed nationally and internationally with choreographers such as Gerald Casel, Mark Dendy, Fiona Marcotty, Tami Stronach, and Colleen Thomas, among others. She is proud to be a founding member of johannes wieland, and grateful for her friendship with Johannes, whose artistry she admires so much.
